

BRITTANY LONG
Brittany Long is a Melbourne-based, freelance live music photographer on wheels. Long has captured well-known artists including Alice Cooper, Rob Thomas, Killing Heidi, Vanessa Amorosi, The Veronicas, Hoodoo Gurus, Vintage Trouble, The 1975, Boyzone, British India and more. Long has also photographed several Australian music festivals; Ability Fest, Beyond the Valley, A Day On The Green, Groovin the Moo, Laneway, Under the Southern Stars, Spin Off, Wine Machine, Dream Machine, Good Things, and at international music festival Snow Machine in Japan.

Long is passionate about capturing the passion and energy of an artist onstage and freezing the atmosphere of a live show, allowing her audience to relive a concert through her photographs. Specialising in live photography and artist portraits she has already made an indelible impression on the Australian music scene.Long is also a passionate advocate for raising awareness surrounding accessibility and inclusivity in the music industry, and is currently undertaking a portrait project entitled ‘Stairing Through the Lens’. A series which involves taking portraits of musicians on stairs at music venues and festivals Australia wide, to initiate the conversation.
